What the route is like
After about 30 minutes in a heated bus, the sleighs and horses are waiting. For an hour you ride a wide, gentle road through a mysterious, snowy forest in the heart of the Tatra National Park. Every guest gets a burning torch, included in the price. If there is no snow, you ride comfortable carriages on wheels.
Feast by the trail
After the ride, an hour-long feast with a highland band in a heated mountain hut or shelter, by the trail and a blazing fire. Food and drinks are unlimited: hunter's stew (bigos), sausages to roast, bread with lard, pickles, mulled wine and spiked tea, and for kids tea with raspberry syrup and lemon.

There are no rides on 24 and 25 December. From 24.12 to 6.01 prices are higher, and the booking calculator works them out once you pick a date.

Who runs this sleigh ride
Our sleigh rides are run by proven organisers from Podhale. The Chochołowska Valley route is run by Magiczny Kulig, which has organised traditional highland sleigh rides with torches, ending with a feast by the fire, since 2023.
